15歲鄧立維 闖上海科學選秀

就讀台中市明道中學、年僅15歲的鄧立維，9歲起埋頭研發，曾以「LED斑馬線」作品奪下英國發明展冠軍；他獲邀赴大陸參加上海電視台主辦的「少年愛迪生」選秀節目，21日將參加複賽，爭取赴極地科學考察站遊學的機會。

LED斑馬線 英國展奪冠

「紅燈的時候會有音樂、綠燈時則每10秒倒數一次…」侃侃介紹自己的作品，鄧立維說，有次在新聞上看到一名視障者過馬路，遭機車撞到，感覺很不忍，就開始構思如何保障視障、聽障者行的權益，研究1年才完成這項發明，目前正申請專利。

做出兩個手掌大小的路口斑馬線模型，再融入聲光效果的LED斑馬線成品，讓鄧立維在英國發明展嶄露頭角，暑假獲上海電視台邀請參加科學選秀節目，鄧立維與來自大陸各省、甚至是世界其他國家的發明好手較勁，也是該節目今年唯一的台灣選手。

身材瘦高的鄧立維從小學二年級就開始發明，他開心表示，有次去日月潭遊玩，剛巧看到水庫洩洪，透過父親講解得知水庫發電的原理，心想若自來水也能發電，就能將水資源利用得淋漓盡致，經與父親討論，父子倆合作完成第一個作品「自來水發電系統」，奪下2010年馬來西亞ITEX世界發明展金牌。

自來水發電 賺入首桶金

自來水發電系統開啟了鄧立維的發明之路，還以100萬元賣出專利權，幫他賺入人生的第一桶金，鄧立維說，之後陸續又發明了8項作品，去年完成的「鞋子處理裝置」目前也正洽談專利權移轉。

提到參加「少年愛迪生」節目的經過，鄧立維說，對方一開始聯繫父親，父子倆討論後認為可拓展視野、與國際接軌，才決定參加，初賽時與其他49名發明好手、在300名觀眾組成的評審團前競技，不只專業知識很重要，臨場反應也影響勝負，覺得大家的構想都很好，但部分選手的作品比較缺乏市場性，值得彼此交流。

經過層層比試，鄧立維順利晉級前17強，將於本月21至23日參加複賽，產生4名選手進行最後對決，獲獎者可赴南、北極地科學考察站遊學，並與諾貝爾科學獎得主零距離交流。
